One of the original five space explorers, Sven was pilot of Blue lion for about six or seven episodes. While on a mission to take out one of the Voltron Force, witch Haggar badly injured Sven. He was injured so bad that he was sent to another planet to heal. Nothing is seen of Sven until the end of the series, when he meets up with Princess Romelle (Allura's cousin on Planet Pollux). From there, they destroy some key buildings on Planet Doom, paving the way for Voltron's appearence to destroy the Robeast Zarkon.

Sven wore a black uniform, and is by some considered a better lion pilot then Princess Allura
