Lotor is the son of Zarkon, and consequently the prince of Planet Doom. His one fervent desire is to take Princess Allura and make her his bride. Second on his list of Evil things to accomplish is the destruction of Voltron. Third on his evil list of things to accomplish is usurping the throne and becoming King of Planet Doom. He is always thinking of ways to do all of these things. Although he has never defeated Voltron, or taken Allura for his bride, he did become the King for a brief time and still couldn't defeat Voltron.
