Keith is the leader of the Voltron Force. He will follow orders at almost all times, but he sometimes breaks them, however seldom that is. Being the leader, he got to control the main lion (the black lion) which formed the torso and head of Voltron. Like other cartoons of this kind, the leader always wears red. He's approximately 16 or 17.

The black lion's power source is lightning. It has no other special powers other than controlling Voltron when it is formed. The black lion sleeps on the pedastool in front of the Castle of Lions.
